HERE WE COME!!!

okay, so....there has been some crazy activity around here lately! I haven't said anything about it until we were sure things were falling into place! first, we did make our family trip out to Nyn Acres. It was a blast! the kids did very well in the primitive camp scene. No worries about them sleeping in their own tent, having to traipse out to the community "bush" to use the necessary, or eating food cooked over the campfire!! That was one of the best weeks we have spent together! They missed their cousins who couldn't make the trip up but didn't let it bring them down. The best part of the whole trip was that my trusty man servant got a job offer close to our town!!! wow! making a cross country move on a budget shoestring is daunting, but we will persevere, because that's what we do. So the plan is for him to head out the early middle of July (yikes! three weeks away) and get situated, do some research on housing the rest of us, and just get to work. We have a family get together back here on the east coast in August, so me and the kiddos will hang out here packing and the such until then, then we can all caravan back and be there before september rolls around. The only bad thing about this is that we won't be set up in time to make it through our first winter there. We will stick around in a camping tent until the weather turns on us, then the kids and i will head over to Gold Canyon to visit with my parents while my trusty man servant stays in town to bring in a paycheck. Hopefully by early spring we will have our official tent in place and make our move permanent!! Check out www.davistent.com to see pics of what we plan on living in while we build our house!
